Then there's the quandary where your loved one *loves* a certain item
but can't eat it for whatever reason. It's not very nice to make it
just for yourself, IMO. That's mainly what I save for eating in a
restaurant or for those nights when we'd be eating leftovers anyway (I
sneak some shrimp in the kitchen while he's watching TV in the den) -
he's none the wiser and I satisfy a craving.
