They have many parties but unlike other industrialized nations,
they don't elect any of them. Canada has five parties sitting in
the House: Conservatives, Liberals, New Democrats, Bloc québécois
and Green. True the Green party member is the leader and sits
essentially as an independent (because you need so many members to
get party status) be she was elected and is doing a great job
compared to some of the other numbskulls.
