Okay. Lemme go to the kitchen and get it...

This is for 4 servings and of course if you change the rice you may need to
change the amount of water and the cooking time.

1 cup brown basmati rice
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons finely grated fresh lemon rind
1 bay leaf
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley or 1 of dried
1 1/2 tablespoons butter or olive oil

Rinse rice well. Bring to boil 2 cups water, salt, lemon juice and rind,
bay leaf and parsley.

Add rice. Bring back to boil then lower heat and cover.

Simmer for 40 minutes or until water is absorbed.

Turn off heat and let sit for 5 minutes, covered.

Add butter or oil and mix gently with fork. Remove bay leaf.
