I am enjoying The Food of a Younger Land, by Mark Kurlansky. I checked
it out of the library, but I think I will buy myself a copy, as this
makes a great night table book. Kurlanksy has compiled articles from the
WPA "America Eats" projects, which documented food traditions across the
country.
The book is divided into sections by region. Each section has many
related articles.:
