I use three racks.

One stays at the bottom, with a rectangular pizza stone on it. (Many
ovens with hidden elements specifically warn against placing a pizza
stone directly on the bottom of the oven.)

One stays at the very top, for heating plates at the last minute before
plating.

The third, which has roller bearings, is the main one used for baking.

As to "branding," I use Orca oven mitts, and have never had such a problem.
