Julie,
By chance, are you not eating enough fat? If I don't
get enough fat, I get really cold (shiver a lot) and
I start to hyperventilate. (GB normal, but I start to
spill a moderate amount of ketones.)
We are not designed to burn carbs as fuel. Only
small temporary spurts. Our preferred fuel is fat.
