Kalua Pig a Success!
I made the Kalua Pig for dinner tonight - took Louis Cohen's suggestion
and served it with sweet potato oven fries, dusted with an Asian spice
mix, and a cucumber/red onion salad dressed simply with celery seeds, sea
salt and vinegar.
Everybody loved it and had seconds and thirds.
Homemade nectarine sorbet with macerated blackberries & raspberries for
dessert.
Definitely a winner - I'll make it again.
This will be my last mid-week dinner party for awhile. After a 3 1/2
year break, I'm returning to the realm of the employed on Monday.
