smoked pig tails?
The Public Library wrote:

them for sale. Anyone ever tried any? I prefer my pig tails braised
in a mixture of fruit juices. Then, when nice and tender, grilled
over charcoal and slathered with house made bbq sauce.
I've never gotten good results either. They make great stock though.
