I'm betting that it is the "old news" that we've heard for years. Bird owners
can't keep birds in the part of the house where the kitchen is if they use Teflon
pans.
Most of the non-stick pans today are Silverstone, Inovexx (sp) or similar, not
actually containing Teflon
