It is available in many places - all that is necessary for it to be a
"sourdough" baguette, is to have the leavening agent be a starter
rather than commercial yeast. It need not taste sour. That is a
misconception.
There are still a lot of French bakeries that sell "tradi," the
traditional, levain-raised baguettes.
