What sweet... with all that vinegar it's inedible. I'd use half that
vinegar (probably less) and probably no water because cukes will exude
plenty of water on their own. And you forgot the pepper, I prefer
white pepper. Btw, cukes from the stupidmarket won't work well (too
seedy), it's best to use fresh picked young pickling cukes (Kirbys), I
usually leave the skins on but score them with a fork. Once my crop
starts coming in I make cucumber salad practically every day... no
reason one can't use some oil... all sorts of dressings work well... I
like an oriental dressing.
