Ah, but maraschino cherries are generally junk. I am wondering
whether that started during Prohibition.

I don't like soft drinks. I almost ever drink them, and if I do,
I usually am reminded after I take one sip. I do make ice cream
soda-type things, but I start at the point that the beverage is
somewhat diluted with melted ice cream.
