I believe it's identical to "Canadian cheese". It's a processed food
derived from cheese. In the USA, it's used mostly on cheeseburgers,
grilled cheese sandwiches, and "tuna melt".

There are also really nasty versions called "cheese food" and "cheese
spread". Probably something is also labeled "cheese product". Then
there's Velveeta.
