Default Putting frozen food in the fridge

If you are going to cook it soon, defrosting in the refrigerator is a
perfectly valid thing to do but I would certainly not refreeze it. I
speak from remembering my worst case of Montezuma's Revenge, which
involved refrozen oysters.
