No, it isn't, and it doesn't. If people frequently ask
in rcb (or rcm, or rcw) about distilling, the rcb (and rcm,
and rcw) general newsgroup FAQ should address the issue
by pointing people to appropriate group(s0 in which to
discuss distilling.
Putting a FAQ for one newsgroup in other newsgroups
is, at the very best, questionable. In this case, based
on my 3000 centuries (slight overstatement) of USENET
reading, posting, and activism, it is quite simply
inappropriate.
