Oy! I feel for them.

My kids have it easy, one's MIL isn't in the area so they're going
there for the week between Xmas and NYE... the other's MIL is in this
area and easy driving distance. Fortunately that family has a habit
of *early* celebrations/parties and I do late by habit so they go over
there first and come here after. All is good in my world.
