Racking and then filter/bottle right afterwards?
Can anyone out there tell me if this is ok to do. Can a person rack and
then filter/bottle right afterwards? The reason I ask is I have a
cabernet sauvignon that was made last October it is completely clear but
has some sediment on the bottom of the carboy. I thought instead of
racking and topping up, I could eliminate the need to top up by going
right to the filter/bottle stage. What is everyone's thoughts on this
process?
