The only reason canned pumpin is scarce in some areas around holiday
time is due to stores not stocking enough. But there is no shortage
because canned pumpkin is actually butternut squash and it's on the
store shelves all year... you can even order it on line, Amazon sells
it in various size cans and in single cans or by the case. Sam's Club
has pumpkin in #10 cans.
