We got pears this year from our Kiefer tree. DH cubed a bunch and
canned them. I just finished pear butter and honey. Don't know if I
have honey or maple syrup. It tastes pretty good. There are some
more on the tree. I don't know if I am going to volunteer to do
something with them or not.
