Default Bryne & Carlson French 85 chocolate bar

This purports to be an 85 % cocoa solids bar.
1.6 oounces or 50 mg come in a neat little
bar at $4.95. 15 tablets in the 3x5 arrangement.
It is a delicious little treat that
I managed to make last for 4 days.
Ingredients list includes: Cacao beans. Cane
Sugar, Cocoa Butter, and Vanilla.
Note the variation in spelling between
the Cacao beans & the cocoa butter? The correct
spelling is as given for the beans, a bad
transcription made centuries ago is the reason
for the variation in spelling.
The package is different being made of high
quality transparent plastic and sealed with
a couple of adhesive disks. The label is
paper wrap-around only about an inch wide
with printing on one side covering about
2/3 of the total area of one side.
A foil embossed with the letter B with
a C smaller and enclosed within the
lower loop completes the package.
That is all that good chocolate
will need. I did note some unevenness
in flavor from one part of the bar to another
but nothing extreme. The chocolate
is well blended otherwise.
I bought this at the Fog City News
on Market Street in San Francisco between
1st Street and Fremont Street. This is
the handiest place for me to get a higher
priced chocolate bar or high quality
chocolates of a great variety. Similar
bars with added spices and differing
amounts of cocoa solids are available
from this chocolatier.

Byrne & Carlson work out of

I have a phone number and Zip code if more
