I'm no expert here, since I've never been to the "south" (never spent
more than a little while east of California and Washington states, and
spent all of three days in Dallas, Texas, the farthest east I've ever
been), but her accent sounds fake to me. What bothers me is that she
didn't used to have that accent! Now, it could be that she had that
accent growing up, and lost it (to some degree) before getting on tv,
and now has it back, but, to me, it still just sounds "forced".
