I believe it is literally white. No tomatoes. Recipes vary but there
always seems to be cumin.

I don't like ground turkey at all. Not sure Angela could eat pigeon peas
because of her pea allergy. Are they a true pea? Or do they just call them
that?

I think (but am not sure) it is mainly the beans she objects to in chili.
But I got some bean soup imported from Italy and she really loved that. It
did have white beans in it and a tomato sauce.
