Hmmm . . . bookshelves. I could use those.
Slight upward angle is good in earthquake country.
In a big earthquake, all the books end up on the
floor.
Aquaria are also vulnerable during a big earthquake.
Expect about 1/3 of the water and fish to slosh out.
After the last big earthquake here, I saw on the
local TV news some video of someone's swimming pool
with a mini-tsunami going back and forth across it
during the quake.
