I have my bird feeders on a pole. Squirrels got a real kick out of
shimmying up that. One feeder is the type where the hopper
closes if they try to stand on it, no problem, they hook their feet
on the handle and dangle over the side like something out of
James Bond.

I got a good size baffle to put on the pole and they haven't figured
out how to get around it yet, and it's been a few years. Of course,
keep the feeder away from trees or they'll just drop in like trapeze
artists.
