There hasn't been much fashion sense among First Ladies since
(omigawd, I hate to say this) Nancy Reagan and hers always seemed a
tad snooty.

Mrs. Obama is young, striking in her physicality, exuberant and wears
beautiful, interesting clothes like nobody's business. I get a kick
out of it all.

In fact, except for Jackie Kennedy rounding out the trio, the rest of
the First Ladies in my lifetime have been downright dowdy, either by
deliberate choice or poor advice.
