I'll make another pitch for the rfc web page, which in turn points to

There are charts to convert between various weights and volumes,
especially in section 2.7.5. It has a column for g/tsp (as well as
others) for about 150 ingredients. For the example above, there are
five different kinds of sugar, and twelve of flour. The conversions are
quite different.
