People who don't measure their blood sugar think that's a healthy
breakfast. Those of us who measure know for sure. In my case, oatmeal,
at least in a quantity that's reasonable to eat, raises my blood sugar
to levels that I find unacceptable. Aside from that, it puts me to sleep
and makes my hands tingle; those are probably short-term effects of the
blood sugar spike.
