It might even be better than that. Palmer '94 was the winner of
our annual "Ten Years After" Bordeaux tasting in January
assembling some 80 wines, scoring 17.8/20, coming ahead of
L'Évangile, both Pichons, and Sociando (all 17.6), Lafite (17.5+),
Angelus (17.3), La Fleur Pétrus and Pavie (17.2). The scores are
assembled from a 10-head tasting gruop; I scored Palmer 19/20.
