If they could make that $0.001 extra profit by giving you
50 pennies for $0.50 in change, you would really have no
problem with that? That is exactly what I am talking about.
Safeway is perfectly willing to inconvenience their customers
by giving them tons of dimes and nickels in change rather
than quarters to make something like an additional $0.001
per shift. That tells me Safeway despises their customers.
I see no reason not to despise them right back. I hate
Safeway, for very good reasons.
