Um, Ciccio aside... "business people", "fair share" and "middle class
majority" and cute terms, but not very informative. What about middle
class people who are business people? Not everyone in the middle class
is a "worker" in the Marxist sense. Some are of the bourgoisie.

(Did I just answer my own question?)

Also, what is your idea of "fair share" payment for government? How do
you rationalize your calculation? None? All? 33 2/3%? 3.1416%? Do you
tie "fair share" to income? Gross or net? I invest (am therefore part
owner) of a number of companies, who pay corporate taxes. Some are in
the energy business, and they pay taxes on oil/gas pulled out of the
ground, more taxes on pipeline transfer, and taxes on their sales.
When all the taxes are paid, some of what is left is distributed to
shlubs like me. Than I have to pay income tax on my dividends. PezBO
now wants to tax dividends with a special tax. Don't forget the taxes
like the one on gasoline, which is aimed at the buyer.....

I am middle class. My plumber is Middle Class, as is the electrician I
hire sometimes to work on my older home. I'm retired, they are both
business people.

See why you're post is unclear? I welcome your elucidation as to how
you see this thorny problem....

Alex, not accusing anyone!
