Well, in my genteel British way, I was taught by my extended Virginia
family how to cook American food. And what food was that? Well, I
never - green beans cooked with a ham hock, home fries, turnip greens,
country ham, pinto beans, hush puppies, Southern fried chicken,
cornbread dunked in milk, red eye gravy, etc. Can I be an honorary
member?
