Well, Bush has left office, so new crusades are unlikely. I think a
plague will occur sooner or later, because our antibiotices, due to
abuse, are losing their effectiveness, while we train bacteria to evade
our defenses.
But, yeah, people should be a good source of protein, and they probably
taste like chicken anyway....
