In my loacality, farmers market prices will be roughly the
same as store prices only for things that are locally in season
(and often only at the peak of season). So for example, at
the peak of tomato season, local organic Early Girl's are
no more expensive at the market than at the store.

Otherwise, the markets are more expensive, with a few random
exceptions.
