Default Could this be a tea plant?

i think the emerging of the leafs looks a bit like for tea plants; but
im not 100% sure (i've seen tee plants in the field in india and they
looked quite a bit different... jet similar enough for my suspicion)

anyone knows how the roots of tea plants are? the roots of those small
plants are very straigth downwards
