The KFC we used to get as a kid was pretty great. Dad coming home with a
bucket of KFC was sure a welcome sight! Back then, it was cheap and
tasty, nowdays it's kinda pricey and just so-so. I don't know what they
fried it in but my guess it ain't the same stuff. Perhaps mushroom
powder was one of the 11 herbs and spices, more likely, you're tasting MSG.
