I, too, have purchased dishes strictly for food photography. Look at my
Thanksgiving series. I bought two of those plates for that purpose only.
Plates are inexpensive. I paid $3.00 each for them.

I drive a Chevy S-10 and have never been outside of the US except for
Canada and Mexico.

Where the hell do YOU of all people get off calling sf "pretentious" for
that Mr. Gourmet eater?
