I stopped at the local produce market to pick up a couple of things when
I spotted a small display of fresh garbanzos.
I had never seen them before.
I bought about a quarter of a pound - they were 4.99 per pound. They are
very light but there are also a lot of empty pods so you have to pick
carefully.
What do you do with them beside just eat them raw. They have a very
green, fresh taste.
