Oh, I think Sig Hansen was probably better known - or at least as well
known....

The least deckhand on that show is a hero to me. I spent years on boats,
barges, and offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. Just to live in those
conditions, and to go out on deck and do your job takes a tough person, male
or female.

I once asked a captain what was the most important job on a ship. He said
none of them. It's all a crew and a team. Without someone to untie the
ropes, the boat would never leave the dock. And without everyone working
together, it's chaos.

All those guys are bigger than life.
