Not at all but I am surprised about the supposed cause being the Vit D. A
number of years ago my daughter had bad runs (with vomiting), months down
the track she still had the runs (no pain or vomiting). She was stool tested
and found to have a bug, the type you can get swimming in creeks etc (which
she had been doing) or eating under cooked chicken. The name of the bug
escapes me but it wasn't e-coli. Antibiotics cleared it up rapidly and took
care of the trots. Is it possible you had a tummy bug? Pomegranate rind
might just have a natural antibiotic effect? I have no idea about that but a
possibility? Do you feel up to trying the Vit D again? It is a most valuable
vitamin.

One of my sons drank swamp water when he was 10, and came down with severe
stomach cramps(we didn't know at the time he drank it)...the Dr's thought it
might be appendicites, it wasn't . Finally they put him in the hospital for
tests and to be put on a drip for pain. Finally they did a stool test on him
and it was Giardia. They were surprised because he never got a loose
stool...they put him on some pill that turned his skin yellow...after a
couple of weeks he was finally rid of it. He learned not to drink swamp
water....LOL.
If we live where there is alot of sun do we still need extra Vitamin D ?
