I had a friend who lived about 10 miles from me. When he was sick, he'd
call me for Jun's Cao Tom and I'd bring him a jug. It always bounced him
right back!
One cup of cooked long grain rice and 3 to 6 cups of water or chicken
broth. Simmer for 15 to 30 minutes, as above. The white pepper is the
secret!
