I've probably tried grilling with over a dozen cookbooks. In each
and ever case, the burning paper pages gives the meat a terrible
flavor and the plastic covers of many cookbooks melts and is very
difficult to remove from the grill tub. My advice would be to use
charcoal or gas for grilling and wood chips for smoking.
