Thanks for sharing all the yummy pictures!
When I visited Italy almost 20 <sob> years ago, I felt duty bound to
sample the chestnut gelato (maroon glace) from as many different
vendors as possible. I recalled being very very happy.

Also if memory serves there was one gelato flavor called English Hat/
Capote Anglais <cough> I later learned that this is slang for condom.
So maybe my memory is off and it was creme anglais or something. I
think it had some cake in it. Anyone? ViLco?
