That sounds nice, especially for the kitchen. We don't break things
often but when we do, it's a mess. I've considered removable decorative
rubber runners along the stove and sink areas. Once I can take outside
and wash with the garden hose.

We have linoleum tile (wood grain look) thru the entire house now,
Surprisingly, it was not that expensive to install.

I just wear socks around the house in the winter.

Besides, even in houses with WtW carpet, I hope to gods the kitchen and
bathroom are not carpeted!
