I have my own compost bin outside and a pail that I keep under my sink
for vegetable waste. I bought the pail from Gardeners.com. It has a
charcoal filter in the lid for odors that I replace periodically. Even
though I don't get it outside every day, I've never had fruit flies
inside and almost never notice them outside.
