Ya just gotta snicker!

Only in Sasebo Japan, where people commonly shop on foot (baskets and
backpack) or with a bicycle (backpack and pull cart) would I let the bagger
tuck my purchases away. (common tip, 1$ per backpack, 1$ per paperbag sized
puill cart. 3$ total if kidlit was along with her backpack loaded by weight
to be light enough for a 7-10 YO to easily handle).

It's a unique situation and might be relevant to others overseas from the
USA standpoint. Not sure how many here have ever done that although some
have.
