Hello mon Cheri! I'm doing well, thank you. I was traveling out of
the country quite a bit last year, and then have been consumed with my
job since getting back. Don't seem to know how to do anything in
moderation, lol, except I'm trying real hard to with the carbs (thus
the search for the perfect flour, lol). I woke up with a 139 after
sleeping in this morning, which is pretty good for me. I'm off all
the diabetes meds, so trying to do it with diet and uhhhh, exercise,
which these days seems to consist of just trying to keep moving pretty
much.

How are you Cheri? Are you closer to your goal of retiring in ... was
it Oregon or Idaho? Some nice property is available up there right
now. I have dropped in on ASD and AFD from time to time to catch up,
and your posts are always ones I look for. I don't see a recent post
from Quentin or Loretta. How are they?

Thanks for thinking about me :-)
===============
Rica, you've always been one of my favorite posters, so it was a nice
surprise to see your name on a post. It sounds like the past year has been
exciting for you, at least I hope it has been. We're thinking one more year,
since he will retire at 66, but he is receiving an inheritance from his mom
who died last year, not a huge sum, but enough to maybe make it possible
earlier if we decide to do that. Yes, we're still going to Oregon or Idaho,
haven't decided for sure yet.

My kids are moving away so that's not going to be a huge factor. One is in
Alambama, and one is moving to Chicago next month...the other one said it
will be a good place to vacation to come and see us, so not a huge problem.
Loretta hasn't posted for awhile, she sometimes takes breaks, and Quentin
drops in to ASD when he's feeling well. He has been quite ill, so his energy
is limited. I see he's playing email chess with Nick, so that's good. OK,
again, good to see you. Tell me about your travels this past year. Where
have you been out of the country? Take care.
