Definitely OT I guess, but the post brought back the memory that I
detested the taste of butterscotch when I was a small child and I still
dislike it. Another memory was buying chocolate bars from *mechanical*
slot machines with a drawer that you pulled out after inserting a coin..
I grew up in Britain and the price was 3 pence (there was a coin for
that amount), about 5 cents in the US at that time, so that was hardly
"penny candy".
