Regal Chocolate Sauce
Regal Chocolate Sauce
This chocolate sauce is great on the cottage
pudding.
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
3 1-ounce squares unsweetened
chocolate broken up.
1teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup evaporated milk
Combine corn syrup, sugar, and 1 cup water:
cook to softball stage( 236) degrees. Remove
from heat: add chocolate, stir till melted. Add
vanilla. Slowly add evaporated milk: mix
thoroughly. Cool. Makes 1 3/4 cups.
