I've found that unless I hit the local farmer's market it is almost
impossible to get Canadian garlic. It's all from China.

Pity, since the local suppliers have a really wide variety of
different types of garlic available and they are well worth trying. I
recommend the Perth (Ontario, not Western Australia) Garlic Festival,
