come on. you think this guy was rational? do you think he was thinking,
'ha ha, those poor unarmed dummies. i'll just go in there and shoot a
bunch of random people and i'll be having a beer in the corner bar ten
minutes later'?

most of these people end up shooting themselves afterwards. they're not
going to be 'deterred' by your citizen-soldiers.
